Ted Schmidt, Lead Negotiator

Ted has been involved in lead generation since his very first job when he set appointments for a "free estimate" for central air conditioning in So. California 1975. After studying Finance, Real Estate and Law at Cal Poly Pomona, Ted became a mortgage broker in the 1980's. When the Internet emerged, Ted set up The Mortgage Leads Network which was the first automated mortgage lead tracking and distribution system in 1999 and was the first to market non-exclusive and Cherry Picked Leads.  His company now has over 40,000 registered users and over 1 million leads. Thousands of mortgage brokers relied on The Mortgage Leads Network as their primary lead vendor through the mortgage boom and bust.  Over the last few years he has focused on residential loan modification and short sale  leads.  Today, Ted focuses on commercial loan modification lead generation through his network of web sites and his proprietary lists of consumers who have used his mortgage finding service.
